In the Vercors, you will find numerous hiking and walking trails that will take you past exceptional viewpoints, majestic mountain passes, fabulous roads, villages steeped in history, waterfalls, and unusual places. During your excursions, you might have the chance to visit the Chapel of the Carpathians, the Resistance Museum, the Courtyard of the Executed, the Water Museum, the Vercors Distillery, the Little World of Provençal Santons, the Garden of Petrifying Fountains, and the Paddle Steamer. To help you plan your days, you'll find plenty of information at the reception of La Combe d'Oyans, your campsite in the Vercors.

The Caves of Thaïs and Choranche

The Vercors is known for being home to a large number of exceptional caves. We advise you to go through the Grotte de Thaïs. During a one-hour visit, a guide will tell you the history of the formation of this cave, its occupation and the recent speleological research that has been carried out. We will also meet you in the Grotte de Choranche. Follow the guide and attend a show that will delight young and old alike. You will follow the two underground rivers and discover stalactites, proteas and the fabulous Cathedral Hall

The Vercors has no shortage of activities. We particularly advise you to go hiking. Five hikes start at the campsite. The difficulties of the hikes vary. The hikes will take you to a climbing wall or to a magnificent waterfall. At the foot of our campsite, you will also find a goat farm where you can leave with goat's cheese. Nearby, you will also have a tree climbing for the whole family.
